Thank you all for your comments. Seems like I should check things out.


It seems like miro / eztv would be a solution for broadcast (and 
internet) TV to a large part, but not for everything. e.g. news.

I would guess a combination with "Andrew's" ATSC tuner / dishes / 
antenna is appropriate.

Is this the demise of rogers / satellite TV broadcasting? Provided, of 
course, one has unlimited internet download / upload capacity. (Let 
alone speed.)
