[kwlug-disc] how to create a debian "preseed" file corr. to an existing system?

  i'm sure there's a simple answer to this, but i'd like to create a
preseed file that corresponds to an *existing* system.  on red hat
systems, that corresponds to the system-config-kickstart utility.
something similar on debian?  thanks.
