FSF - Free Software Foundation

The Free Software Foundation is "dedicated to promoting computer users' rights to use, study, copy, modify, and redistribute computer programs." The FSF is the primary sponsor of GNU project which has created many of the open-source tools we enjoy today.

Founded by Richard Stallman, to support the GNU project the FSF also promotes software freedom through various campaigns.
